Joan and Dennis, Chelsea and now Matthew, make their home in Guelph, Ontario, along with our cat Scully. We are both originally from southern Manitoba - Dennis from Rosenort and Joan from Niverville. We got married in June of 1996.

In the fall of 1998, we had the opportunity to take a trip of a lifetime as Joan was going to be in Tanzania as part of her work and Dennis would join her midway to not only see what kind of work was being done, but also to spend some vacation time. You can read our story:

Dennis has been with MKS since the fall of 1995, starting in Technical Support. He is now on the Software Quality Assurance team with the role of Tactical Test Lead.

Joan works as a Nutrition Officer with NUT (NUtrition Team) and has had the opportunity to travel to East Africa on occasion, visiting Tanzania and Ethiopia, as well as trips to Malawi, the Phillipines, Austria, and in and around North America for conferences and workshops. She is now on maternity leave and will be returning on a half-time basis in October 2004.
